i have hp laserjet 5L / 1100 PRINTER.
ALL FRONT PANEL LIGHTS REMAINS ON AFTER PUTTING PRINTER ON.
NO INITIALISE OF PRINTER OBSERVER, NO MOTER MOVES, ALL REMAINS IN STEADY POSITION. POWER I/P IS GIVEN OK 110/230 V AC, NO PAPER FEEDING TAKES PLACE, TONER USED IS ALSO OK. CAN YOU SUGGEST ME WHAT WILL BE AN ACCTUAL PROBLEM.

The error light remains lit on my laserjet 6L, and the printer is inoperative. I've checked for paper jams, but nothing evident. the HP website seems to suggest a service is req'd or the paper sensors may need to be reset. Is there a servicing manual for this printer or does it need to be repaired? |

Try holding in the button on the frount will the error light is lit. Does the error lit(s) change, 6L have various light error codes many of which can only be viewed by holding the button after the intial error has been given. |
